How osteopathy works

How does osteopathy work? It should be noted that it treats, first of all, not so much with the hands of osteopath, as you might think, but with knowledge. Knowledge of the body structure, biomechanics of movements of various organs and tissues, their possible disorders and the impact of these limitations on function. The same functional disorders, in turn, can be manifested by certain symptoms. During the diagnosis and treatment of a patient, this often a rather tangled knot has to be unraveled from the opposite end - complaints, symptoms and signs.

The most interesting cases are described below. Perhaps doctors will find something useful for their practice, and patients will find it useful to know that explanations such as: "salts", "toxins", "something is stuck", "something is inflamed", "lack of NSAIDs in the body" and other similar explanations are not the best diagnosis. Because often their suffering is based on a very specific dysfunction of a particular anatomical structure.
